Unified Planning Work Program

The Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) is a budgetary document for the MPO, which lists all tasks and activities  staff will perform throughout the fiscal year, including any associated expenses. The MPO is required by federal statute to develop and maintain a UPWP every year. The UPWP is typically updated beginning in February/March and is typically adopted in May. The UPWP utilizes a Fiscal Year (FY) beginning July 1st and ending June 30th. The most recent UPWP’s can be found below.

Annual Performance Expenditure Report

In addition to the UPWP, MPO’s are required to compile a list of activities and expenses that were expended or completed from the previous UPWP. This list is known as the Annual Performance and Expenditure Report (APER). The APER is a reconciliation on the activities and expenses, after the fiscal year has come to a close. This document is typically completed in September of each year. The most recent APER’s can be found below.
